Don't you LOVE those stripes? I do. I got them at Quilt Taffy (FABULOUS customer service). Now, sssshhhhhh, don't tell Judy, but I might be using a different pink for the sashing. We were supposed to use fabric from our stash, but I found some fabric that I HAD to have, and might use that instead. We'll see. I will definitely be using scraps for the "toes".
Have you ever seen the Applepop Quilt? Holy Smack! The first time I saw it, which I'm sure was on the amazingly talented Amy's blog, I fell in love. Here's a picture of the whole quilt that Amy did. She talks more about it on her blog. Well, I recently found a quilt kit for it on eBay! Hooray! You know I had to get it. I also got the template that Terry recommended on her blog. I decided to play with it a bit, and here's what I came up with.

You are so talented and devoted to your craft! I love your nine patch!
oooh so much pretty goodness! the fabrics you've used are super pretty and I love the nine patches - you've rekindled my interest in them! Good luck with your quilt along!
Gads, you've been busy! I love all of your projects! Did you see the JUMBO Dresden plate template over at The Little Shop?!?! That gets a girl to thinkin'. Best wishes with the applecore and the -along. That Applepop quilt is certainly fun and the template makes it so much easier, cutting-wise. Have fun!
Your nine patch and applecore blocks are so pretty. I just love the spring colors.
Cool Applepop but, I am totally swooning over that scrappy nine-patch! It's beautiful!
Love the apple core quilt, it's very calming. I noticed you used a Strawberry Shortcake fabric, I used the same one on a Operation Kid Comfort quilt. They are cute. Great job!
I love how this nine patch is turning out!! Can't wait to see it finished. Judy is a task master but you should have a beautiful quilt when you are finished!!
LOVE those 9 patches!!!!

I love the Applecore quilt. I've got one on my list but now I'm going to wait until they come out with the die for my GO Cutter.
The nine patches look great too.
I'm just gonna have to do the quilt-a-long vicariously through you. I've said it a million times with the fabric you picks... I love your fabric picks!
Beautiful colours in your 9 patch. I think the applepop would be beyond me for quite a while yet. Well done for trying it.
fun 9-Patches - they really are such a happy block
The apple top quilt looks like too much work to me, but I do love your nine-patch!
